Sarah went to New York University during the dot com boom in the 90s, and spent many a night sharing pizza slices and coffees with friends who paid their way through school coding for up-and-coming start ups. Being able to speak developer came in handy after Sarah moved to Chi-town, where she took a lead role in developing the City of Chicago’s official tourism website and negotiated one of Foursquare’s first business partnerships, producing four Foursquare badges and attracting 77,000 Foursquare followers. Sarah has won a number of awards for her work, including “Best Use of a Social Media Platform” from Travel + Leisure magazine.

When she’s not tweeting, organizing meetups, blogging or checking in somewhere, Sarah’s putting her creative talents to use as an artist and film curator at venues like Hyde Park Art Center, Links Hall and the Museum of Contemporary Art.
