Here’s how Mightybytes helped PNC Bank bring the message of financial literacy to parents and their kids across the country.
Founded by The PNC Financial Services Group, PNC Bank’s Grow Up Great campaign is a 10-year, $100 million investment in school readiness to help prepare children from birth to age five for success in school and life by teaching them early-stage financial literacy.
Strategy and Discovery
The primary project goal was to educate young children about basic life skills and long-term financial investment concepts in an engaging way. Given the young age group, visuals and interactivity needed to be fun and surprising while gameplay logic required simplicity.
Mightybytes created animated, interactive graphics suitable for a pre-K age group. The Grow Up Great kiosk includes bi-lingual (English/Spanish) educational games for pre-school and early elementary kids and tips for parents on how to integrate math skills into everyday life.
Touring the Country
Because of its engaging gameplay, the interactive educational kiosk received positive feedback and thousands of visitors at events across the country, including Super Science Saturday in Baltimore and the Cincinnati Flower Show. The program was also implemented in the Detroit Public School District.
