When you provide us with personal information by filling out a form, we store that information on our servers or the servers of third-party services that we use for marketing purposes (see “Third-Party Products & Services” below).

Contingent on your consent, we may use your contact information for our own marketing purposes, but we greatly respect your privacy and will never sell or share your data for others to use.

Similarly, Mightybytes uses cookies—small pieces of data stored on your computer—to make our website more efficient. We employ this data—provided from Google Analytics (see “Third-Party Products & Services” below)—to create more useful website content and improve your website experience.

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. This can be done via the pop-up that appears when you first visit a page on our website.

When you provide us with personal information via our website forms, you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will ask you directly for your expressed consent.

We will also provide you with an opportunity to unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time in each correspondence.

Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate these Terms of Service.

Third-Party Products & Services

Mightybytes uses several third-party services on our website:

  • Mailchimp is our email marketing provider. When you register for our e-newsletter by providing your email address, that information is stored on Mailchimp’s servers.
  • Google Analytics allows us to track site performance. We have updated our Analytics account to comply with privacy legislation such as GDPR, CCPA, etc..
  • We use Formidable to create website forms. User data is stored on our website in WordPress and emailed to our Gmail account, which complies with consumer protection and privacy laws, like CCPA, GDPR, etc. See “Security” below to learn how we maintain a baseline hardening against breaches.

In general, third-party providers used by Mightybytes will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. If you are concerned about these services, we recommend that you read their privacy policies to better understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. If you elect to proceed with an interaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.
