Tim built his first website in 1995 and has since parlayed that skill into a career helping nonprofits, sustainable brands, and conscious companies tell their stories and find success online.
A seasoned speaker, Tim has presented at conferences and facilitated workshops and other events across North America. Passionate about the growing global movement of B Corps using business as a force for good in the world, Tim also sits on the advisory committee for B Local Illinois.
Tim has written four books, which are used at educational institutions around the world. His books include:
- Designing for Sustainability: A Guide to Building Greener Digital Products and Services from O’Reilly Media
- Two editions of Return on Engagement: Content Strategy and Web Design Techniques for Digital Marketing from Elsevier
- Managing Interactive Media Projects, a project management guide from Cengage Learning
Tim has contributed to dozens of publications, podcasts, blogs, and content platforms over the years and is a regular contributor to B the Change, the media platform for the global B Corp community.
Tim is the former Board President of Climate Ride, a global charity that produces multi-day endurance events which have raised millions of dollars for environmental nonprofits. He is also co-founder of Content Jam, Chicago’s largest content marketing conference.
