Frequently Asked

Questions

Not sure how your team or organization might benefit from Mightybytes’ digital strategy services? Here are the five most common questions we receive.

1. We know our digital strategy already. Why should we hire an agency for this?

It’s great that you already have a strong understanding of your digital strategy. However, the value in these engagements stems from collaboration and co-creation. We incorporate stakeholder perspectives and run workshop exercises together to foster a shared learning experience. Without fail, this yields new insights for your project, even if you already have a clear strategy.

2. Are the benefits of a digital strategy engagement worth the expense?

Creating alignment on the best path forward saves money, time, and resources. By building consensus through facilitated exercises and managing expectations up front, we collectively prioritize features and test ideas before spending money building something no one wants.

3. How do we ensure that strategy benefits are long-lasting?

Product roadmaps, service blueprints, or other deliverables that come out of our digital strategy process provide clear paths to enduring success. However, progress occurs over time by regularly revisiting our shared commitments.

To address this, Mightybytes offers a variety of project check-ins, reporting, and maintenance and support services to ensure we stay on track for long-term success.

4. Who should I invite to our workshop?

While each engagement is driven by your unique goals, we recommend including five to eight people who represent different stakeholder perspectives, including leadership, project managers, marketers, content teams, and those with customer, donor, or community member perspectives.

5. Why do we need a workshop? Can’t I just send you our RFP?

Sharing documentation is only a small part of nurturing mutual project success. You should definitely create a project brief—but stay away from the outdated RFP if you can. They rarely set projects up for long-term success.

Research shows that the best results come from diverse teams that utilize collaboration, co-creation, and participatory design practices to collectively achieve their shared goals. Mutual trust, transparency, and accountability simply cannot be achieved through documentation alone.
