Here’s how Mightybytes operationalizes justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) based on new B Corp performance requirements.
Operationalizing
JEDI
Under new B Corp standards, Certified B Corps are required to incorporate justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion principles into daily operations. Details on how Mightybytes complies with these new requirements are below.
New B Corp standards differ from company to company based on a variety of criteria, including company size, location, and revenue. The standards below reflect those required for a small service business with a minor environmental footprint.
Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, or JEDI, is about breaking down barriers so that we can reach our full potential as unique individuals. When companies collectively advance JEDI principles, we create safer and more inclusive workplaces in a more equitable economy.
— Bernard Gouw, Senior Social Standards Manager, B Lab Global

- We cover JEDI principles at company meetings, especially as related to digital products and services we provide to clients.
- We regularly publish content on data inequality, data privacy, algorithmic bias, inclusive design, the digital divide, and related topics.
- We strive to improve how we track, measure, and report on these efforts.
We commit to incorporating JEDI principles into all our work.

- We strive to improve the diversity of our workforce with every hiring decision.
