In 2011, Mightybytes became the ninth Certified B Corp in Illinois and 435th worldwide.

In April 2025, B Lab released new standards for B Corp certification. These standards include more rigorous and transparent requirements across multiple impact areas, raising the responsible business bar for Certified B Corps around the world.
