We worked with Jam Events to shoot and edit video for one of the biggest Chicago art events of 2009: the opening of the Art Institute of Chicago's Modern Wing.

When the Art Institute of Chicago opened The Modern Wing with a gala benefit that featured performances by Project Bandaloop and Taiko Project, Mightybytes was there to catch the performances in full HD glory. The Modern Wing's opening made the Art Institute the second largest art museum in the United States and the opening gala was a citywide news event. The 264,000 square foot building was designed by Pritzker Prize–winning architect Renzo Piano. Mightybytes worked with longtime collaborators Jam Events and producer Eric Geist to bring this project to life.
