AEP Digital Publishing Summit

The Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) held their annual Digital Publishing Summit at the JW Marriot in the heart of Washington DC in early June. Educational publishers make up a large part of Mightybytes’ client base, so naturally we jumped at the chance to be an exhibitor when offered the opportunity by some key AEP players (thanks Dave and Doug!).

Being a trade show exhibitor was a new experience for us, but our friends at Shakespeare Squared, seasoned publishing trade show veterans, held our hands through the entire process and made our inaugural foray into exhibitionism a painless process (thanks Stacy, Megan and Kim!). While much of my time was spent touting company wares and talking about projects we have completed for various publishing clients, I did manage to take in a few speaker presentations.
