Panasonic AG-HMC150

by Tim Frick

Panasonic just announced the release of a new solid-state tapeless HD camera that capitalizes on the success of its popular DV-based AG-DVX100. We just replaced our DVX100 with the Sony PMW-EX1, also a solid-state tapeless HD camera. The team at Mightybytes is focused on maintaining the pre-set standards of clients when approaching a project, while at the same time infusing new creative elements to keep clients a fresh and part of the community of…

Report from HD Expo at Navy Pier

by Ben Simmons

In early June I went down to the HDExpo at Navy Pier to check out what’s new in the world of high definition video technology. What I found were the usual sneak peak of freshly picked products: HD games, multiple HD camera simulations, all-HD editing set-ups, and a lot of smiling people telling whoever would listen why their brand is the best. I must say, I found many of the gizmos fascinating, but the drone of the crowd and faux sparkle…
