2010 American Web Design Award

Our site for Macku Sushi is a winner of the 2010 American Web Design Awards. We think it’s pretty fresh ourselves too. The editors of Graphic Design USA sponsor this national competition which celebrates ‘the power of a well-designed site to attract audiences, communicate information, generate engagement and response, and market products and services.’ The emphasis is on visual design and aesthetics and one of the most important goals of the competition is ‘to trumpet the value of design to business and society.’

Mightybytes created the site to showcase the contemporary Japanese cuisine of Macku Sushi, where each dish has a unified intention and a clear vision, defined by a unique palette of ingredients, textures and flavors. The mouthwatering photography is by our friends at Andrews and Braddy

See more on this project in our portfolio.

Have a taste of Macku Sushi.

New Mightybytes Site Launch

Hello new look! We recently flipped the switch on our spiffy new site and are pretty psyched about the results. With a complete overhaul on front-end and back, the site is easier to use all around and more accurately reflects our capabilities. The site takes full advantage of HTML 5 and CSS 3 and has improved SEO and accessibility. Click around to explore the big changes we made which include:

1. New design (new colors, typography, wider viewing area, and increased readability)

2. Restructured content

3. Streamlined back-end improvements to workflow

4. SEO and accessibility improvements

5. HTML 5 and CSS 3

You'll see a new approach to the homepage and services categories as well. We hope you like what you see. If you've got something to say about it, drop us a line! We would love to hear from you.
